TOU is the pronunciation of the Chinese character “头,
which means “head.”
DAO is the pronunciation of the Chinese character “道,”
the same character as in “Dao DeJing” (Tao Te Ching).
One of its meanings is similar to the concept in Dao De
Jing, referring to methods and principles.
TANG is the pronunciation of the Chinese character
“汤,” meaning “decoction.”
In Chinese, Tou Dao Tang also means “the first
decoction.” This is because the herbal decoctions we
use for our head therapy are freshly prepared using
traditional methods. They are made on the same day
and used on the same day, ensuring the highest efficacy
and quality.
1. Our services use freshly decocted herbal formulas.
The decoction is applied to the scalp and hair through
washing, hot compresses, and soaking, effectively
addressing various scalp and hair issues such as hair
loss, graying, dryness, dandruff, and scalp aging.
2. The freshly decocted herbal formula is also used for
hot compress therapy on the shoulders, neck, and
head, combined with massage techniques. The herbal
essence, along with heat therapy, helps unblock
meridians, expel cold and dampness, regulate qi and
blood, and alleviate issues like poor sleep, irritability,
headaches, and nasal congestion.
3. Our unique head and shoulder massage techniques
provide guests with a deeply relaxing and stress-
relieving experience.
4. Our spa incorporates Five-Sense Therapy: visual,
olfactory, auditory, gustatory, and tactile experiences,
combined with traditional Chinese medicine benefits, to
achieve comprehensive physical and mental well-being.
Rest assured, our herbal decoctions not only offer
excellent therapeutic effects but also have a mild,
natural plant fragrance. After the treatment, once your
hair is dried, we will also apply a silk protein essence to
leave your hair smooth, shiny, and pleasantly scented.
We warmly invite you to experience it for yourself!
Tou Dao Tang Herbal Formula is an ancient herbal
remedy that has been passed down for thousands of
years. It is made from natural herbal plants, preserving
the full medicinal properties without any added
preservatives or artificial additives. The key secret lies
in always using the first decoction, simmering it slowly
over a controlled period and temperature, allowing the
herbs to release their full efficacy. This is the most
crucial aspect of the Tou Dao Tang Herbal Formula.
The health benefits of Tou Dao Tang Head Therapy
